                                                     Media Language Analysis

Lo: to analyse a media text using Media Language. No Time To Die :

This shot type is medium long shot. The Camera-man used this instead of close up because it wouldn't show his gun and holder, its also not a long shot because we wouldn't be able to see his expression that looks serious, and serious creates mystery.

The creator kept the gun noises in the trailer and made it loud so it creates thrill and tension. Gun's were used because guns create violence and keeps the watcher on edge wanting to view more of the action-packed film.

The scene cuts at first slowly fade to black and fades to another scene, to possibly create suspicion. Then all of a sudden the cuts are getting faster and faster. This puts the watcher feel more hooked on to the action.

The dark background with a creepy clown emerging from the darkness making the viewer feel a creepy vibe. And really puts the viewer in the boys ( Georgie ) shoe's because we can tell the movie is a horror story. The font is red, showing blood-death. The font represents classic horror font from other well-know scary films, so the reader could tell by the font and colour that IT is a horror.
Dune
Editing : There are lots of close shots to show emotion. To do with editing, the clips don't fade or anything they just snap from clip to clip. The clips go at a different speed throughout the trailer.

In the dune trailer editing is used effectively to intrigue viewer with the sgi and fast moving clips, for example in the trailer the clips get faster and faster, they don't fade because fading could mean years later e.c.t and this is a sci-fi film, this creates the effect of fantasy.
