Sound in film 🎥 

Coraline : 

What I hear is lots of suspenseful music, aswell as lots of spooky sounds like doors creaking and mice tip toeing across the squeaky and old battered down floor boards. 

Throughout the film is that are seemingly whispering and thinking to the audience. 

The suspenseful music is very quiet and sounds silly but at the same time spooky. The volume of the track graduates from quiet and then at the end of the scene it gets loud and suddenly stops.

This makes the audience want to watch further into the film because of you don’t know what’s about to happen next, which is suspense.

Because this is a children's film the spooky sounds and scenes aren’t to scary but creates an eerie atmosphere when watching.
