About 130 musicians came to Truro to perform in support of Ukraine.

In Truro, City centre, musicians picked up their instruments and played music in order to support Ukraine. 

Musicians from as far as Penzance, Bude and Boscastle came to Truro to play after a Facebook appeal on Tuesday night.

Ukrainian citizens in Cornwall said, "I think it really touched us." Which would've been the point for the musicians playing, to spread awareness that we are all supporting Ukraine.

Mrs 'Curnow' said that "Actually we had an amazing orchestra players here today and it worked really well."  

My story about whats going on with Ukraine and Russia : 

Russia And Ukrainian War

The Russian leader's initial aim was to overrun Ukraine and depose its government, ending for good its desire to join the Western defensive alliance Nato.

He told the Russian people his goal was to "demilitarise and de-Nazify Ukraine", to protect people subjected to what he called eight years of bullying and genocide by Ukraine's government. "It is not our plan to occupy the Ukrainian territory. We do not intend to impose anything on anyone by force," he insisted.

But there were no Nazis and no genocide, and Russia has imposed brutal force on dozens of towns and cities and united Ukrainians in opposition to its occupation.

These are Ukrainian troupes of to go to war with Russia to save its country.

Putin has and will carry on turn off Russians who oppose him and the war.

Almost 15,000 anti war protesters have been jailed and virtually all independent media has been silenced.

As the war is carrying on, Putin could be thinking about his next move....

"Suspense is Putin's favourite tool," says Lilia Shevtsova, author of the book Putin's Russia.

"He will maintain the tension, turning the fire on and off.

"If he retains his mental logic, he won't attempt a full invasion. But he has a variety of possible actions available to him, such as cyber-attacks and squeezing Ukraine economically like a boa constrictor. A Russian military incursion to seize the whole of Donetsk and Luhansk regions is also possible.

As Ukraine citizens are hiding underground and in underground train stations, ( hiding from the bombing attacks on Russia. ) People are having to say goodbye to fathers for going to war and fighting for freedom. As sad as this may be people, along side with family, are having to give up pets. Shipping them off to England.

As Russia propaganda spreads, more Russian troops continue to rade Ukraine.

Words from Ukrainian mother having to flee Ukraine with her 5 year old Daughter :

"Every minute a part of me dies in agony while seeing and hearing the devastation that my motherland is going through," she told councillors

"Now I ask you a favour please - look at me.

"I impersonate a young, pretty and intelligent country in the middle of Europe.

"Ukrainian people are extremely brave. They are well-educated, they fight furiously for their independence and they will proceed in fighting whatever it takes."

She said her country, its armed forces and people were "furiously protecting our European countries and their peaceful life".
